Dr. Bob Sawvelle, along with his wife Carolyn, is the founding and senior pastor of Passion Church. He serves as the primary teaching pastor and also oversees curriculum and course development, leadership training, and church operations. Bob holds both a Doctorate (DMin) and Master (ThM) in Ministry and Theology and is ordained with Global Awakening Ministries. His doctoral research focused on the role of Christian healing ministry in evangelism and church growth.

Bob has participated in numerous short-term missionary outreach trips to Belize, Brazil, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Israel, Mexico, Mozambique, Romania, Tanzania, Ukraine, and Venezuela, where he preaches the gospel of the Kingdom of God with healings, signs, and wonders often following. He has also traveled extensively with Dr. Randy Clark and Global Awakening.

In addition to his pastoral work, Bob has mentored DMin doctoral students at United Theological Seminary and served as an adjunct professor with Global Awakening Theological Seminary. He is also a prolific author, having written books on healing, faith, prayer, and living an extraordinary life.

In his personal life, Bob enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and golf. He especially values spending time with Carolyn, their family and grandchildren.

Dr. Bob and Carolyn Sawvelle are the founding and Senior Pastors of Passion Church. Carolyn serves in several key roles, overseeing the church operations, staff, Life Group, and leadership development. She also provides pastoral oversight for marriage and family, inner healing, prophetic, youth and children, altar, and prayer ministries.

Ordained with Global Awakening Ministries, Carolyn is trained in intercession, praying for others, the prophetic, healing, inner healing, and leadership. She also holds an AS degree in Computer Science.

Carolyn loves being a part of Passion Church and treasures time with Bob, their daughter’s family, and playing with her grandchildren. Above all, her deepest desire is to abide in Jesus, dwell in His presence, and help cultivate an atmosphere where others can encounter His love and presence.

David and Jan Milligan serve as elders and core leaders at Passion Church. They are actively involved in intercessory prayer, counseling, and inner healing ministry, with many years of experience in these areas. David is an ordained minister, and Jan is a licensed minister of the gospel as well as a licensed counselor with a master’s degree in counseling. 

Together, they carry a deep passion to see broken hearts mended, lives restored by the power of the Holy Spirit, and unprecedented revival released.

Ed Gallick is an elder at Passion Church and has been a church leader for over 30 years. Before joining Passion in 2013, he served as long-range planning director and oversaw ushers, greeters, and security at his previous church. At Passion Church, he leads the Welcome Team and focuses on Men’s Ministry, passionately mentoring and discipling other men. 

Ed has a special gift for connecting with and loving people, and he treasures time with his wife, Cheri.

Charles Haney is an elder at Passion Church with over 25 years of leadership experience. He is a retired Army veteran and film and television professional. He has a Bachelors in Film & TV Production from Full Sail University. Charles leads the media team with a passion for excellence in live-streaming and video production.  He also assists Pastors Bob and Carolyn with administrative tasks, drawing on his wide range of computer skills.

In addition, Charles is a published Christian fiction author who enjoys using his gifts to serve and support ministries.

Justin and Eleshia Sullivan serve as the youth leaders of Passion Church, bringing both heart and experience to their ministry. They are committed to creating a relatable, inspirational, and empowering environment where young people can grow in their relationship with God, discover their identity in Christ, and build meaningful connections with others.

During their college years, Justin served as a student evangelist and greeter with 3C Campus Ministries, while Eleshia ministered as a liturgical dancer, sang in the choir, and led a women’s small group. Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Eleshia earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.

Justin and Eleshia enjoy exercising, basketball, golf, and spending time outdoors, but their greatest joy comes from being together and raising their young son, Jace.

Vicki Saxon is the Passion Kids Leader at Passion Church, serving with a heart for children and families. She brings experience in childcare and youth programs, including after-school leadership, and holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management. 

Vicki believes children are a blessing from God and is passionate about nurturing the next generation through fun, engaging, and biblically grounded teaching. 

She and her husband, Randy, have been married for 32 years and enjoy time with their three daughters, grandchildren, and church family.
