Birth to 4 Years Old
Your baby will experience personal care from our team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned. We also take time to love and pray for your baby each week.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Every weekend, your children Kindergarten through fifth grade come to a Passion Kids service where they experience dynamic Biblical teaching. Together, they learn about the Bible and how to have a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and have fun developing friendships with each other.
What to Expect on your first visit
When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well.
Check-In
Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.
HOW THINGS WORK
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll receive a text from us. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.
Safety
All Passion Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own safety team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a text message paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.
Passion Church Kids
World Changers is our Passion Kid’s Ministry for children ages four through 5th grade. Ministering to children is a great joy and privilege, as well as an awesome responsibility.
At Passion Church we partner with parents to raise up a generation that knows God and His great love for us on a deep personal level.
It is our desire that children’s experiences with God be powerful and life changing. This is accomplished through teaching fundamental kingdom principles, practical practice of these principles in their daily lives, and consistent challenge and training in developing spiritual disciplines early in life.
We want children to find their identity in God at a young age and to know and understand the purposes and destiny He has for them. We partner with parents to identify and develop spiritual gifts from infancy and to nurture these gifts to maturity.
Therefore every time we meet our goal is to create an environment where God’s presence is felt, God’s love is experienced, and God’s word is taught.
At World Changers, children are given the opportunity to practice what they learn and are encouraged to utilize their gifts as they take God’s presence, love, and word with them into the world.
As we believe that it is important for families to worship together and for children to learn from their parents the discipline of entering into worship, our children remain in the sanctuary for our time of corporate worship.
This also allows children to experience the various ways God moves during times of worship and allows them the opportunity to become an active part of the body.
